Meet Sofia! She is a 4 year old, 52 pound Shepherd mix looking for her forever home. This precious girl loves her long walks to the park and would enjoy a yard to sunbathe in. She can get a little nervous with loud noises so we feel that the suburbs would be the best fit for her. Whenever she sees that you’re holding the leash, she does endless amount of circles with excitement. The first way to win her over is by treats! She is obsessed with them and will never refuse one. Sofia tends to do better with a female presence but warms up to males in time. She hasn’t realized that other dogs and cats can be her friends too so it is recommended that she be the only animal in the house. Given the chance to really shine, Sofia will show you how great of a companion she is and how much love she has to give. She was surrendered to our sister shelter in Puerto Rico when her whole world was turned upside down after her owner passed away.
