Introducing Maki! She is a 3 year old, 37 pound Lab mix looking for her forever home. Maki is the perfect mixture of playful and cuddly. You’ll find her chasing a ball one minute and the next she’ll be relaxing in the sun. She’s perfectly content just lounging around for the day but if you like going on long walks in the park or even just around the block, she’ll be happy to join you! Maki’s favorite toy is anything that is plush with a squeaker in it. Once she’s found that squeaker, it is game-on to see how long it takes for her to get it out. She even gets along great with other dogs and cats! Maki would love a home where she gets endless amounts of belly rubs, treats, walks in the park and an abundance of head scratches. She was brought to our sister shelter in Puerto Rico, heavily pregnant and ready to give birth at any moment. Maki felt very comfortable with our wonderful staff and just days later, she gave birth to 5 wonderful puppies who have all found their forever homes.
