Pumpkin is the sweetest girl in the world and is super affectionate.  Honestly, this gorgeous and unique girl doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.

Pumpkin is 1 year old and about 40 pounds, but she needs to gain some weight.  She was found in an abandoned home when her owners moved away from Puerto Rico after the hurricane.  We realized she wasn't gaining weight after she was rescued and after a trip to the Vet we found out that her jaw was fused on both sides. She could have been born with this, or it could have been from past trauma.  She is eating great now, but her food needs to be pureed, because she isn't able to open her mouth more than an inch. Now that we figured out her food, Pumpkins jaw doesn’t cause her any other problems. But she cant bark or bite (not that she would ever), etc. She does still try to give you tons of kisses though, which looks a little funny, but is so sweet!

Despite her jaw, Pumpkin is a happy go lucky girl who can live a long and happy life. She absolutely loves all people, kids, dogs of all sizes, and cats. Pumpkin is very playful, but gentle. She would make the absolute perfect family dog. Everyone who meets her just falls head-over-heels for her. She just radiates sweetness.

Pumpkin is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. For more information about Pumpkin, please fill out an application at www.ALRcares.com or email Julie@ALRcares.com.
