Atari is not out of the woods yet, but this brave little girl is fighting the good fight!

Everyone please join us in sending prayers and well wishes to sweet Atari. She was found on the side of the road last week, injured and hiding. We aren’t sure what happened to her - she may have been hit by a hard or abused by a person who considered her a pest, but she found with her limbs out of place and having trouble breathing. 💔 

Our team at El Faro diagnosed her a diaphragmatic hernia which is a condition in which a break in the diaphragm allows abdominal organs to move into the chest. This usually happens through blunt force trauma. She was rushed into surgery and made it through the first critical 24 hours of care. She is so brave!

We could absolutely use your help to financially support Atari’s care - she’s not out of the woods yet and this little one will need more medical attention.
